Our Kitty

This is the pic I wanted to post the other day - this is the most recent pic of our kitty.
He may look "funny" to you because he's a Devon Rex. What that really means is, he's more like a dog than any cat you've probably met. But he's also part monkey cause he loves to climb us and ride around on our shoulders. He is really the king of the house.

Today's the day

Well, today's the day. I went in and gave my blood at 7am this morning, and come 5pm tonight, Tm and I will check our voicemail for the test results. Then we have plans to go to CL/RL for spam musubi and some celebration or comfort. I hope that it is busy at work today to keep my mind off of the time - that the day will fly by and that Tm will get home "on time" (which is early by normal standards). We decided to wait until we would be at home and together to get the results. Neither of us liked the idea of getting the results in the middle of the afternoon while we were at work. If we've had to wait this long, we can wait a few more hours.

Bummer!

I was so bummed out last night - I wanted to write to the blog and post a new pic of my kitty, and it was not accessible (aka DOWN). Yikes! Now I can't post the kitty pic because I'm not at home to access it, maybe later. This week has been pretty crazy with work - our orthopedics clinic is crazy busy a lot of the time (that's where I'm working this week). At least it's helping the week to pass by - it's already Thursday. We just found out that we will get notice about a potential job offer for Tm the same day that we find out about the other test. Tuesday, January 31st is the big day. Just continuing to breathe and live and pray each day away.

And try to get ready for the Superbowl...

Whooo Seahawks!!

Even though we live in Boston, we can't help but root for our hometown team - and I am just so amazed that the Seahawks are going to the Superbowl! As I'm sure you are aware, it is their first time in franchise history of winning their championship and going to the big bowl. As such Tm and I will be hosting a huge superbowl party at our place. We may even allow some Steelers fans in the door (but only if they bring food or drink!) hehe..

Waiting..

I will not be driven crazy with the waiting. I have handed this over to God and am trying to pray continuously, thanking him even for the opportunity to try. I will take each day, one day at a time. With supportive husband, family & friends I can and will stay sane. I thank God for each and every one of you.
